This short course is for practice educators. It provides an introduction to supporting disabled students on placement. It should be used as a basis for further discussion and exploration of signposted resources.

- Understand and explore what is meant by the term “ableism”;
- Learn about the difference between learned and lived experience and how this might impact on disabled students;
- Reflect on your learning using additional reading and resources, either individually or in groups.
